How to CHOOSE empowerment to change your habits

You’re more powerful than you think you are

time for changeWe all have habits.  You know, those things that you’ve gained from your parents, family members, friends or your significant other?  Yeah, those pesky little “quirks” that you can’t seem to change no matter how good your intentions are.

Let’s talk about those habits.

How have your habits been serving you this year?  Do some of your habits leave you feeling weak, sad, angry or unfulfilled?  Have they been keeping you from feeling fulfilled, at peace and happy?

Be honest with yourself – are your habits leading to where you want to be OR are they taking you away from where you want to be?

Notice that we didn’t say anything about bad or good habits.  Your habits are what they are.  In fact, the more that you come down on yourself about choosing a habit over and over even though it’s “bad”, the more you’ll persist in choosing it.

Allow us to show you a different perspective. 

How about CHOOSING empowerment over your habits?  We’ve both practiced this at different times in our lives and it has brought us to where we want to be.  You don’t have to beat yourself up or make yourself feel bad about choosing your habit over and over again and getting the same results.  Really.
